The Tour

Come and enjoy the original bicycle tour around the City of Cusco! This tour will show us the essence of the former Inca capital, its typical streets, its most common places and sights. From the local markets, the ancient Inca walls, the main football stadium, to the historical center with its main plaza and churches – be prepared for a fun ride around town, an exciting journey through Andean history and culture, and get a taste of the delicious Peruvian cuisine.

Number of participants: 1 – 9 (please contact us in case you want to book a bigger group)

Level of difficulty: beginners and higher

Duration: half day tour (approx. 6 hours), 15 km on bike, mainly flat, a few easy climbs

Itinerary

08:30 am – pick up guests from Hotel in Cusco

09:00 am – start city bike tour

09:15 am – stop at San Francisco Church and Colegio Ciencias

09:30 am – visit San Pedro Market and enjoy a fresh fruit juice

10:40 am – bike down to Sol Avenue and stop at Qoricancha Temple

11:00 am – continue and go out of the old city to Plaza Tupac Amaru

11:10 am – pass by the Garcilaso Stadium

11:30 am – stop on the way for a snack in one of the modern neighborhoods

12:00 pm – visit the Condor Apuchin statue

12:10 pm – start our way back to the old city

12:40 pm – stop for a typical lunch and visit at Wanchaq Market

01:45 pm – ride up to San Blas square

02:30 pm – visit Plaza de Armas and end the tour with a Peruvian beer
